Clinical Strategies to Improve AutoImmune Thyroid & Celiac Disease

Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto’s disease is considered an autoimmune thyroid disease. Common complaints are fatigue, depression and an inability to loose weight. Your thyroid cells are being destroyed in the process causing an elevation in Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH). What’s happening is your actually producing auto-antibodies to your own Thyroid gland. There is a strong correlation between this condition and gluten sensitivity or Celiac disease; gastrointestinal (GI) inflammation. If you’re concerned about inflammatory conditions like these please take the no-obligation Inflammation Survey.

Now please understand this. It takes two legs to dance and the adrenal glands and thyroid gland are tied together at the hip. You cannot have a problem with your thyroid gland without also having a problem with your adrenal gland. So you must do something for both of them at the same time!

SUGGESTION 1: Get off all GRAINS/GLUTEN 100%, this includes corn. Once you have your energy back and have lost some weight you want to you “might” consider reintroducing grains into you life.

People with hypothyroidism are likely to be Vitamin D deficient and need mega doses of Vitamin D. What are other things that deplete Vitamin D? Stress, obesity and GI inflammation all of which are present in anyone with an adrenal/thyroid problem.

Vitamin D is somewhat misnamed. It is actually a hormone which supports our immune system T-regulatory cell function. In order to assimilate Vitamin D most effectively it’s best taken with Vitamin E, EPA/DHA, glutathione and SOD which are all present in AlpineV. Vitamin D and Glutathione are both vital immune modulators.

RECIPE FOR THYROID HEALTH: Take 2-3 drops of Bio-D-Mulsion Forte along with two 1 ounce of AlpineV twice a day for the next 30-90 days.

The AlpineV Sandthorn berry delivers glutathione to the gut to stop the inflammation there.

Hypothyroidism is associated with high antigenic loads such as gluten (already mentioned) iodine, bacterial infections and the heavy metals they bind.

Some people have various mold/fungus in their bodies. Sometimes the immune system will go crazy trying to tag the mold and even end up attacking an organ like the thyroid or ovaries.

The typical medical response to hypothyroidism is iodine supplementation. If after taking iodine the client experiences anxiety, nervousness, palpitations or insomnia they are having an adverse reaction to the iodine. In this case the iodine actually makes things worse and the person may loose more and more thyroid tissue.

Of course a simple test for the presence of Thyroid Perioxidase (TPO) antibodies informs you that iodine is contraindicated. If person has high TPO they don’t want to be taking iodine even if they are iodine deficient as this will eat up their thyroid gland and the cells won’t restore. Ask you doctor to administer this test for you, it’s available through Immunosciences Lab.

The other approach is to put these clients on Synthroid or Armour Thyroid which often times results in the client feeling exactly the same. The reason for this is that the iodothyronin deiodinase enzymes (D1, D2, and D3) are not functioning properly and need to be reprogrammed using DNA Reprogramming.

SUGGESTION #3: Get the DNA Reprogramming Starter Kit so you can clear yourself for Iodothyronin deiodinase enzymes (D1, D2, and D3) to get these enzymes working again. The anti-dote you’ll need for this treatment is Thyro-CNV which helps convert T4 to T3. This will assist those taking Synthroid to feel better.

One more important point. A person with Hypothyroidism can be either T-Helper 1 or T-Helper 2 dominant. The best way to find out is to have your doctor run the T-Helper 1/T-Helper 2 function panel which he can order from Immunosciences Lab located in California.

If you want to get an indicator of which one you might be here’s a check-list.

People who are TH-2 dominant will get worse when they use TH-2 stimulator’s like salt, caffeine, nicotine, licorice or green tea.

While people who are TH-1 dominant will feel better using these substances and worse when they take TH-1 stimulator’s like sugar, alcohol, tranquilizers, astragulus, echinacea or mushrooms.
